Day 2 - Paris

The world's most photographed tower

Paris’ number one attraction, the Eiffel Tower, needs to be visited early to avoid the crowds. You may have to queue over an hour to get to the top but the views you are rewarded with for your patience are worth it.

Afterwards make your way to Ile de Cite where Paris originated and visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, before making the short journey to the Pompidou Centre, home to Paris’ modern art museum. Whether you plan on going in or not, make sure to go there just to check out the building.

Ile de la Cité is full of bars and restaurants. Grab a bite to eat there before chilling out with a few beers in the Galway, one of Paris’ least tacky Irish bars.
